History

Nightingale Nursing Services (NNS) was established in 1986 as a privately owned and operated home care agency. A diverse clientele has been served and continues to evolve over the years with the expanding reliance on the home care sector. NNS recognizes the importance of home care and the increasing need for the services provided. We are able to assess current and future training and professional development opportunities. NNS has served clients with minor health problems to acutely ill clients requiring more advanced and intensive treatment. We identify and adapt to those ongoing trends and changes that have occurred over the years. More sophisticated equipment is being used in the home to provide optimal care. More teaching and educational services are being utilized. Although the need for home care increases with age the profile of the population we serve has changed over time. NNS provides service to people of all ages whether chronically or acutely ill. We pride ourselves in providing a service that enables people to stay at home and remain involved and active in their communities. All of these changes and those to come are a necessary element in improving service delivery. We are an innovative team with supportive staff ready to make changes or advancements that make the client and caregiver more comfortable in the home setting.
